How do I become a Prevailing Man? Part 5

We have already considered the first two "Catalysts for Spiritual Growth" and how one becomes a Prevailing Man:
1. Practical Bible Teaching
2. Private Disciplines

Today I want to consider two more:
3. The Power of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit does an amazing work in transforming us into the likeness of Christ. He does this through His ministries of teaching, convicting, leading, comforting, helping and interceding for us.
2 Cor. 3:17-18 - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [18] And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
4. Providential Relationships
I am convinced that we cannot become prevailing men of God without the help of a lot of different kinds of relationships. As we look at the life of the Lord Jesus He seemed to have relationships with 70 – 12 – 3 and 1. We see this at work in our ministry model of:
1.    The Foyer (The multitude)
2.    The Living Room and Friendships(70)
3.    The Kitchen and Family(12)
4.    1 on 1 relationships(3)
5.    A good counselor(1)
We need all these levels to help us process truth and life and become the men God called us to be. We need people ahead of us, beside us and behind us to help us in this race called life. We need relationships that will celebrate us, cheer us on, speak truth into our lives and reflect back to us what they see.
Hebrews 10:24 - And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Proverbs 17:17 - A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Proverbs 27:5-6 - Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.
Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to change you little by little over time?
Do you have a variety of relationships in your life to help you grow and change?
