Sick for God's Glory-John 11.1

John 11:1 Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.  2 This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.  3 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”
When I read these verses, I thought, what hard or “sick” circumstances have I seen for God’s glory? And how was Jesus glorified through it? Over the last 30 years I have seen many “sick situations” that God has made beautiful in His time. This is His specialty. This is the character and nature of our God to bring beauty from ashes and to cause all things to work together for good in time.
What “sick” situation have you seen Jesus glorified?
